Review of ApexProfits broker website and client portal

It goes without saying that the website of Apex Profits has recycled the same generic template that many CFDs brokers have been using lately. We can immediately pick 5 or more brokers who are using this template. The look and feel of the broker’s website is far from pleasant. The choice of dull colors is an eyesoar for anyone who dares to spend 5 minutes trying to peruse the website to learn what features the retail broker could be offering.

Most sections of the Apex Profits website consists of self-praise marketing literature where the broker has used many unsubstantiated statements. The broker’s physical address, phone number and factual company details are notably missing from the homepage.

The account types section makes at attempt at providing details of the various account plans but how do we believe the supposed benefits of signing up when the broker is shy to display their physical address? Something seems out of place.

We take extra caution not to submit personal details to ApexProfits due to data safety concerns. So, while creating an account to take a look at the client portal, we used not so accurate details.

As usual, the procedure involves submiting our names, country, email address and a phone number. The process of creating an account with Apex Profits is instant. However, the broker will immediately redirect you to their deposit funds page. The urgency with which they want our deposit is buffling. ApexProfits doesn’t care about verification of personal details or even a welcome email.

The client portal encompasses many sections of the platform to allow interactions with the user profile or trading app. We’re able to view account summary, monetary transactions or even perform actions such as KYC verification and click a link to refer-a-friend.

The broker has incorporated TradingView on their platform. The user-interace is simple and straight-forward. You can buy and sell assets with a few clicks of the mouse. The minimum amount to invest is $25 per trade and the increments can only be of the same number. Therefore, you cannot invest $30 but you can open trades for $25, $50, $75 or higher.

Generally, TradingView brokers are not some of the most transparent in the industry. Whereas the platform is easy to use and interact with, it lacks a sense of importance that trading terminals such as MT4/5 exude.

Will ApexProfits let you withdraw funds with the same sense of urgency that they use for demanding your deposit? This is debatable.

ApexProfits account plans

Next, we’re treated to 4 account types asking for a $250 minimum deposit. This figure is revised upwards as we go to higher account plans. The subsequent account plans demand $2,500, $10,000 or $50,000 respectively. The reason one is compelled to upgrade is because they wish to experience trading with better spreads, higher leverage and generous deposit bonuses. A personal account manager is also thrown into the list of features that clients are supposed to enjoy. But in reality, the broker is using the illusion of sophistication and exclusivity to attract more money to themselves. The risk is proportional to what you are giving this broker. For that reason, we do not encourage plunging into this trading platform head over heels.

Is Apex Profits legit or scam broker?

When looking at this broker, a number of questions come into mind. Are they licensed? Do they have verifiable physical address and is their track record in order?

We cannot find a license or a document suggesting that this broker is due for a regulatory license. The website doesn’t offer any legal pages with information pertaining to the registration of the company. This is a matter of concern that the broker seems to have swept under the rag.

Secondly, ApexProfits.com was created as a broker in January 2023 and files uploaded onto the website in February 2024. However, the domain itself has a history dating back to more than a decade ago. In 2006 for example, it was used to sell e-Books. 3 years later, it was a parked domain looking for the next buyer. The next buyer is now the operator of ApexProfits. Technically, this broker is a fly-by-night since they have only operated it as a broker for a couple of days. The short duration of operation implies that this company lacks a track record.

Lack of a physical address is also a concern because it suggests the firm is not transparent. It should be noted that the practice of hiding physical addresses is associated with brokers who lack credibility.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Nothing positive

Cons

  • Does not have a license
  • Does not have a track record or reputation
  • Fake TrustPilot reviews
  • TradingView not our favorite terminal
  • No physical address
  • Absense of phone number
  • No transparency or element of credibility

Summary of this review

The absense of critical legal information pertaining to this broker’s identity and operations is definitely a disturbing finding. It is not possible for ApexProfits to be legitimate when they lack transparency, and thus we advise traders to exercise caution when dealing with such a company. It is better to look for brokers who take credibility seriously.
