GKFX Cambodia (gkfxcambodia.com) is a new Forex broker whose website was registered in March 2019.

GKFX Cambodia offers trading in Forex instruments in addition to CFDs and Commodities on the good old MT4 platform.

They’re actually providing 28 Forex pairs and 2 Commodities only. They clearly don’t have a variety of financial instruments for trading which is quite a setback.

While they’ll automatically accommodate these highly recommended trading services if they prove to be a reliable brokerage company, we still fee that traders will be restricted by a number of things.

They provide 3 account types to enable their clients trade the financial markets.

The broker did not disclose minimum deposit requirement as well as their regulatory status.

These “advantages” are found in almost all brokerage companies that are serious about creating an good environment for trading.

We do not see how these “advantages” are setting them apart from the competition.

The base currency for the broker’s trading accounts is in USD.

They operate from Cambodia and are incorporated as GKFX (Cambodia) Co. LTD.

This is definitely an offshore location and many traders will not feel comfortable opening a trading account with them.

Other “advantages”

We found out that their support is offered through email contact as well as live chat.

We also discovered that GKFX Cambodia Forex broker has a wide range of trading tools ranging from basic ones like an economic Calendar to an MT4 Booster package.

This MT4 booster package consists of all the tools you’ll ever need for your trading on the MT4 platform.

Of course they also claim to be official partners of Arsenal.

This is a marketing stunt that tends to appeal to clients who support Arsenal. It does not guarantee any kind of advantage.

A word on GKFX Cambodia (Global Kapital Group)’s licensing

Despite listing good trading conditions and having a professional website in place, this broker is operating without a valid Forex broker license.

Trading with an unregulated broker has always been associated with risks because obviously customer funds are never safe.

On top of this, unregulated brokers don’t offer form of investor compensation in case the company goes under.

Properly regulated Forex brokers will put their customers’ money in segregated accounts to safeguard the funds since it’s a requirement of the financial regulators.

In addition to this, they are often members of investor compensation funds (if they’re based in Europe).

Unfortunately, GKFX Cambodia (Global Kapital Group) does not guarantee any of this safety.

This obviously makes them a dangerous broker to trade with.

Conclusion

The only advantages that GKFX Cambodia broker seems to offer is an expansive education library and good trading conditions.

The downside is that they are an offshore, unregulated broker and every financial regulator will discourage you from trading with such a broker.

At this point, we’re afraid that we can’t recommend their service.
