This review is about Apex Investing and a trading educator called Darrell Martin.

Apex Investing Institute is running its business from Texas, US using two domains: apexinvesting.com and apexinvesting.net.

The trading school maintains the following social media pages:

YouTube

Facebook

What type of trading products does Apex Investing provide? They provide traders with the following:

Market and Mind Mastery training for application in the Forex, futures, spreads, binary and Nadex Touch Brackets contracts.

According to the marketing material appearing on the Apex Investing Institute website, the Apex Live All In training is teaching content that has never “appeared anywhere else on the internet”.

There are different levels of membership, and privileges also vary. In addition to this, Apex Investing offers trading signals.

The Apex All In bonus package offers the following:

  • Access to Market and Mind mastery training
  • 1 Month access to “All In” room
  • Access to “VAD” for 1 month
  • Free access to Bronze for 1 month
  • Free access to “order Prints” for a month

All of this can be purchased at $997. What does Market Mastery entail?

According to Apex Investing promotion material, this course teaches the ins and outs of reading the financial markets.

Learn the Ins and Outs of reading the market. We are going to take you through it like Google maps…big pictures, zoom in, zoom in, all up to the front door! Longer term charts for the overall markets, smaller down to the levels, the walls, the bars, all the way down to inside the bar.

Darrell Martin is basically saying he’s going to teach you how to navigate your way in the charts.

He believes that his Apex All In event will also help traders transition from demo to live without getting stack in the “analysis paralysis”.

What is more, Darrell Martin of Apex Investing is also offering training on how to read levels.

A trading educator called Lori is in charge of reading market levels and according to marketing materials, it is alleged that Lori is extremely conversant with levels.

Lori is allegedly an ex-student of Apex Investing. Promotion materials claim she joined the trading school in 2013.

In addition to this, Darrell Martin of Apex Investing is offering students a trading system called “The Kiss Trading System”.

Apex Investing review: Community, trading tools and webinars

They claim on their website that traders need organized knowledge, a community of traders and more than just ‘freemiums’ to gain an edge as a trader.

For that reason, they give access to what is called Apex Power Trading system which is basically a combination of live seminars, education webinars and a community of traders posting their “recent trades’.

Most importantly, the trading school is alleged to have registered some 26,000 students.

This community of traders meet in the live trading room, engage through webinars and real-time mentor groups.

In addition to this, the trading school claims to provide an automation trade assistant which is allegedly helpful when combined with market analysis.

Lastly, Apex Investing is inviting students for a free 30 day boot camp. They claim that no credit card is required and you can learn consistency and how to trade objectively.

Apex Investing review: Looking at this objectively

This is a trading school that has been around for quite a long time.

It’s quite different from the usual trading schools we’ve reviewed here such as Emporos Capital, The Stock Whisperer and many others.

However, this does not mean that joining will be a worthwhile effort.

Maybe the best you can do is to sign up for the free Boot camp provided you’re not surrendering your credit card details.

Before you pay the $997, you need to ask yourself two things:

  • Do you have the resilience to learn and work hard?
  • Does Darrell Martin and his former student, Lori have a live trading account with profitable trading history?

If you have answers to the above questions, you can comfortably folk out the $997 cost of subscribing for this trading school.

Apex Investing review: History does not forget

Over the years, students have joined and left.

However, what is difficult to confirm is whether there’s actually a profitable trader who went through the training program and is making money as an independent trader.

In 2016, an ex-student of Apex Investing claimed that Darrell Martin was charging $100 in monthly subscription for the signals he was giving traders.

In addition to this, the student claimed that there were roughly 300 students subscribed for the service.

Trading signals were being sent through SMS and he was sending out alerts for binary options and spreads.

The same ex-student claimed that most members were not happy with Apex Investing though the people who worked for Darrell Martin were pretty nice.

He also alleged that the reason Darrell Martin terminated his membership was because he was showing others how to calculate deviation levels.

Another student from Apex Investing posted his trading statement on a forum and according to the results, we figured out that they were doing very poorly.

Does Darrell Martin have a live trading account?

We know he doesn’t. That is why he cannot produce a redacted trading statement even for the past 1 month.

We’re not discrediting his training. All we’re requesting is a redacted broker statement to show that his knowledge and set of trading tools truly give traders an edge.

Conclusion

Apex Investing is not something we can recommend at this time mostly because the pricing is unfavorable for traders who don’t want to invest $1,000 on a trading room.

We’re also not sure whether the owner can produce their redacted trading statement.

There’s no proof of live trading yet Darrell Martin insists that he is offering a life-changing trading course and experience that will turn students into consistent traders.

If he has a live trading statement for at least 1 month, we dare him to post it here.

Thanks for reading our Apex Investing review.

Alright then, out of 1000’s of subscribers, you mention 2 negative comments, without supportive materials, and a claim that Darrell cant produce his finances, without supportive materials. I think the word is wont. I wouldnt.
Its these one sided narrow vision summations that abandon clarity, just because anytime someone spends 1-2 hours getting the facts on something that has been around 10 years, missing information is always the culprit. But then, i have to keep reminding myself, positive stories blur in a fleeting moment, unlike their counterpart.

There aren’t 1000’s of subscribers at any 1 time, the attrition is VERY high, and the complaints are many.
Subscribe and you and your money will soon be parted (though my knee jerk reaction to your post is that you are an operative of APEX/MARTIN.

An operative, as in a member, …….of course, how would I know these things unless I take them from just anybody. If I was a secret agent I wouldnt tell, but I will tell you what the cons are, since we’re being honest. Software, monthly fees, and startup is not on a average novices level. Im not going to build this up, nor produce a story from just my opinion.

There is plenty of free information out there provided by knowledgeable individuals. Trading is difficult, simple, but certainly not easy. Lets face it, most people that trade are gamblers. They are not educated, or educated enough, do not have a plan with set rules, start with very small amounts of capital and have no idea about risk management. As for educators… take them with a grain of salt. There are good ones and not so good ones. Do your homework. Like I said there is a ton of free information out there. More than enough to get you started and keep you going. Not every educator is a scam. Take from them what works for you and continue to build your style. Its a marathon, not a sprint. Best of luck!!

Successful traders do NOT need to make money by selling ‘training courses’…
Darrell Martin makes out he’s the next Warren Buffett, but is in fact an ex bankrupt making his money from the never ending supply of internet suckers.

See below. I had an issue trying to set up my charts like they describe. The reply back was horrible. Clearly he didn’t read my email. I ignored it since I eventually got it to work. They sell lots of stuff like a 3rd party auto trader. Had a question about capability of transferring to another computer if when I buy a new computer. Got a reply of how to buy the right computer. Again Clearly he didn’t read my email. When I replied back asking is he read my email and was hesitant to buy into the program given the recent history of customer support I received, he locked my account. This screwed up my trading platform since their software was installed and I couldnt get in to remove it. I receive a nasty gram back when asking for help to remove their software. Top is his reply. Bottom is the email I sent. You can clearly read I never insulted him. Just stated poor customer service.

While explaining to your Mr. Black how he doesn’t read emails he locked my account before I could get the instructions on how to remove Apex from my computer and nt8. I wanted to sign up for elite, but I had concerns with customer service due to the previous experiences with your Mr. Black. Since the option to sign up is gone, how do I get the info to how to remove apex from my computer and nt8? Really sad yall lost a customer due to his hot headedness.

I expected a lot more than these small complaints, given the page title.
Darrel Martin gives tremendous value to profitable traders. That’s what Apex is all about, getting
margin for contracts into the hands of someone who uses them well, at extremely low cost and risk to the trader.

The people who lose were always going to lose no matter what anyone does. There will always be losers who demand education material, but no material exists that can save them. Attaching the word scam to a funding company on sole basis of the education they provide to suckers who demand it? That’s sad and petty.
